What editorial autonomy changes for your team

01
Your team publishes without waiting for me.

Your team publishes without waiting for me.

The fields in the interface carry the names of your real content: offers, sectors, case studies, events. Nobody needs to understand a tree of blocks to add a page.

02
Changing a headline costs nothing now.

Changing a headline costs nothing now.

Every routine edit goes through the interface, with no ticket or quote to wait for. My involvement is limited to new features, which makes your annual budget predictable, even over three years.

03
Your site grows without starting over.

Adding a language, a new content type or a product range does not call for a redesign. The structure is planned from day one to absorb those additions.

What you get

Custom content model

Custom content model

We define your content types and their fields together, before any development. That is the decision that determines whether the interface is comfortable in two years or painful from the first month.

Admin interface

Admin interface

Designed for your users, with fields named in your trade vocabulary. Roles follow your organisation: who writes, who approves, who publishes.

Dynamic pages

Dynamic pages

Blog, case studies, job openings, sector pages: anything that repeats becomes a collection. A new entry creates its page, its tags and its internal links.

Multilingual management

Multilingual management

French, Dutch, English, with hreflang tags properly placed. Each market runs its own content without waiting for head office.

Preview before publishing

Preview before publishing

Your writers see the real rendering before going live. Nobody publishes blind hoping the layout holds.

Documentation and training

Documentation and training

A written guide and a one-hour session with your team, plus support on your first three publications. Training is worth what the first week of real use is worth.

Were you looking for WordPress? What I build instead, and the cases where WordPress is still the right call.

WordPress does the job on plenty of projects, and I will tell you if yours is one of them. It gets expensive the day the interface stops looking like what you publish: fields nobody uses, and extensions to keep updated for as long as the site lives.

On a custom CMS, the order is reversed. Your content types are defined with the people who publish, then the interface is built around them: your fields, your vocabulary, your rules.

The foundation depends on what you have to publish. Laravel and Filament when your content is linked together and several roles share the publishing. Sanity when the same content has to feed a site, an application and other channels. Instatic or StudioCMS when you want to edit visually and publish static pages, on an admin hosted by you.

That is the switch Nallian made when leaving Joomla: Lighthouse score raised from 61 to 95, and a team that publishes without a ticket to the developer.

Your questions about websites with a CMS

How much does a custom website with CMS cost at Numinam?

I charge €700 per working day. The number of days depends above all on how many content types have to be modelled and how much content has to be migrated, not on the number of visible pages.

ScopeBudgetWhat it includes
Website with CMSfrom €8,400 (12 days)10 to 25 pages, 1 to 2 collections, one language
Multi-content websitefrom €14,000 (20 days)Several collections, two languages, migration
Editorial platformOn quoteThree languages, linked content, connections to your tools

In Brussels, the Digitalisation Grant can fund 25 to 70% of the amount, capped at €10,000 per calendar year.

What is the difference between a custom CMS and WordPress?

WordPress costs less to start and a lot more to keep alive. A custom CMS does the opposite. The right choice depends on the horizon you are thinking in.

If you publish three articles a year on a simple site, WordPress does the job and I will say so. Custom makes sense when several people publish often, with structured content. The technical detail is in WordPress vs Astro in 2026.

Is my team really able to run the site on its own?

Yes, on one condition: that the interface was built for them. That is why the content model is defined with the people who will publish, not with management alone.

In practice, a custom interface only shows the fields that concern you, named in your vocabulary. There is no fifteen-entry menu of which you never use twelve. Generally, a one-hour session is enough for a writer to be self-sufficient, and I support you through your first three real publications.

How long does migrating my current content take?

From a few days to two weeks, depending on the volume and the state of what exists. A hundred well-structured articles can be moved automatically; two hundred hand-built pages, each with its own layout, need a manual pass.

During scoping, I look at your content and give you a number. That line is isolated in the quote, so you can decide to migrate only part of it: it is often healthier to leave behind pages nobody reads.

Can Numinam publish content on my behalf?

Yes, but the point of a custom CMS is precisely not to need that. I offer a content management package from €150 per month: you send, I publish.

In practice, most teams take that package for the first two months, long enough to find their feet, then stop. That is the intended outcome.

Can the site be multilingual in French, Dutch and English?

Yes, and multilingual is planned into the structure from the start, even if you launch with a single language. Adding Dutch a year later then requires no rebuild.

Each language has its own content and its own hreflang tags, which lets Google serve the right version to the right visitor. A word-for-word translation does not rank: the per-language semantic work is described on the SEO and GEO page.

What happens if I want to add a content type in a year?

It is planned for. Adding a collection, job openings or pages per municipality for instance, generally represents one to three days of work depending on the number of fields and the templates to draw.

That is the main difference with an online platform: there, an unplanned need gets worked around with a hack, or does not happen at all.

Showcase website or website with CMS: which one should I choose?

The question is not the number of pages, but how often you publish and how many people have to do it.

If in doubt, start with the showcase website. Moving to a CMS afterwards does not mean redoing the design.

A CMS may be too much for you

If you publish a few times a year, the admin interface never pays for itself. Here are the two lighter formats, with their prices.
